After reading an interesting article about writing stories with catchy titles, I came up with ‘the dog just swallowed the piano’ but my love of toilet humour barged in and the title was hastily revised to produce this offering. I’ll probably get around to writing the piano version one day.

The dog just peed on the hoover - oh what am I to do?

The hoover doesn’t work anymore - oh what am I to do?

The carpet is covered in dog hairs - oh what am I to do?

The dog is chasing the neighbours cat - oh what am I to do?

The neighbour is not very happy - oh what am I to do?

The dog is very ecstatic - oh what am I to do?

The cat is stuck in the cat flap - oh what am I to do?

The dog is barking like crazy - oh what am I to do?

Maybe I’ll catch the dog? Yes, this is what I’ll do.

Maybe I’ll free the cat? Yes, this is what I’ll do.

 I’ll say sorry to my neighbour – yes, this is what I’ll do.

I’ll leave the carpet as it is – yes, this is what I’ll do.

I’ll take the hoover to be repaired – yes, this is what I’ll do.

I’ll tell the dog he must pee outside – yes, this is what I’ll do.

And I’ll tell dog it isn’t nice, to use the hoover for a loo!
